Umbraco in Local Government event 22nd August 2013

Following a string of visits, speeches at events & conversations, we've arranged a "learning event" on the afternoon of Thursday 22nd August.

This is aimed at everyone in Local Government who is using, or is interested in using Umbraco and wants to find out more.

We've been in touch with other councils and organisations who have also created some amazing new websites using Umbraco and have asked them to be key speakers at this event, sharing some of the issues, benefits and processes involved from their own perspectives.

The agenda is:

  • 13:00     Welcome and introduction
  • 13:10     How we came to choose Umbraco and our experience - Shropshire Council
  • 13:45     Migration: project manager’s viewpoint (Kevin Jump - Liverpool Council)
  • 14:30     Integrating CRMs  (Matt Watson - Barnsley Council)
  • 15:15     Future developments (Tim Saunders, Cogworks – Umbraco Gold Partner)
  • 16:00     Open Q&A
  • 16:30     Close and thank you, followed by informal networking session

You can sign up through EventBrite http://umbracolocalgov.eventbrite.co.uk/ - but spaces are limited so book NOW!
Update:
The target audience is local government and public sector organisations, if you are not a member of, or directly associated with these groups, please contact us via web.team@shropshire.gov.uk before you book, stating the reasons why you wish to attend & we will get back to you.

We look forward to seeing you!
