Performance testing I/O through-put with IOMeter (In other words... are my disks fast enough?)

Disk speed is important I'm sure we all agree;

- high performance dbs
- what are we running (postgres for what - what sort of performance do we need)
- what should we expect (some guidelines on measurements for different types of server)
