After just over 18 months of using Umbraco, which included helping to deliver new.shropshire.gov.uk and migrating shropshire.gov.uk, Lewis and I were given the opportunity to undertake the Level 1 and Level 2 Umbraco Developer training courses being held in Manchester from the 16th to 19th September of this year.
Each 2-day course is lead by a seasoned, knowledgeable Umbraco developer (Douglas Robar and Darren Ferguson for Level 1 and Level 2 respectively), and requires attendees to pass exams to gain an official certification. Having four certifications in-house automatically qualifies the organisation/company as a Certified Umbraco CMS Partner, which is a great accreditation for any web development team to have.
As you can probably guess from the title of this post, we passed both courses, making us Certified Umbraco Developers, and allowing Shropshire Council to be proudly listed as an Umbraco Certified Partner on Umbraco.com - which means we can show the official badge on our website!
